Making California a regenerative economy
Regenerative California.
Catalyzing systems change.
A nonprofit organization partnering with communities to create regional regenerative economies — convening, aligning capital and policy, incubating innovative solutions, and co-creating the blueprints for lasting systems change.
Within 10 years, California can demonstrate that a different kind of economy is possible — one where strong communities, restored ecosystems, and lasting prosperity grow together.
County to County.
Creating Proof Points.
Monterey was our pilot county, and the community identified three initiatives to pursue: Attainable Housing, Future of Food, and Economic Opportunity.
Our work is now expanding across California, and there is increasing interest from over a dozen other regions that are eager to join our movement. We are now expanding into Sonoma-Marin, launching a regional regenerative food systems campaign. Find out more.
“Regenerative California is the first of its kind, with an ambitious mission to move Monterey and eventually California towards a regenerative economy. This is the direction we need to go.”
